I'm a Certified Holistic Health Practitioner, Certified Mold-Literate Practitioner, Certified Brain Health Professional and Founder of Within You Healing.
Within You Healing is a practice specializing in chronic illness, auto-immune disorders, thyroid conditions, Gastrointestinal issues, tick-borne and infectious diseases, mold illness/environmental illness, longevity and anti-aging.
It took me 13 years to find the answers to my myriad of symptoms and illnesses, and ever since then, it’s become my mission to provide you with the tools, education, and support you need to feel your absolute best.
I understand the importance of taking an active role in the healing process, which is why it’s a collaborative and holistic approach when it comes to working together. We work together to determine any causes of chronic symptoms and factors that may be limiting your body’s natural ability to promote health and healing in your life. It's usually more than one thing that got you not feeling well. It's often multi faceted and finding the root cause is like peeling an onion of its layers, from gut health, dental health, diet, untreated infections, physical and emotional trauma to your environment.

My Healing Journey

here's a brief look of my healing journey
It took me 13 years to finally feel good again.
Before sickness encompassed my daily life for over a decade, I had just gotten married in NYC, and my husband and I were back in Sweden visiting family. Unknown to me, I got a tick bite while there and little did I know, that was the start of what would change my life forever.
Over the following years, I experienced a rollercoaster of ups and downs, misdiagnoses, alternative treatments all over the world, and a ton of questions left unanswered. Determined to get to the root cause of my illness, I researched day and night and worked alongside my doctors to understand my symptoms. After I was diagnosed and treated for Lyme and co-infections, Hashimoto's, Celiac, my symptoms started to improve, and I began to feel better.
But then my symptoms came back with a vengeance. I hit rock bottom. I felt like I was dying, and no treatment could help me.
I continued seeking treatment and alternative forms of care for several years, but I was alone on this journey. I didn't have anyone who could guide me or advocate for me so that I could focus on healing. I had to do it all myself.
It wasn't until I discovered I lived amongst toxic mold and was diagnosed with Mold Toxicity/CIRS, when my healing journey began. I removed myself from the toxic environment and started to detox and treat what was overlooked for so many years. My friend put together a fundraiser so I could go to a clinic in Arizona that specifically treats mold, Lyme, and other illnesses. Things finally began to look up.
As I recovered, I realized there was so much more to the one diagnosis of the tick bite that started this all. It was a cumulative effect from stress, trauma, mold, and so much more that contributed to my illness for so long. It's usually never just one thing. I didn't want anyone to have to suffer for so long or make that kind of financial investment, with little-to-no support along the way.
And so, Within You Healing was born. I became a Certified Health Coach Practitioner, a Mold Certified Practitioner, and, essentially, a detective to help my clients heal from within. Throughout all of this, I've been fortunate enough to have learned from experts in the U.S. and Europe. Since founding my practice, I've been able to work with various clients worldwide by figuring out what is causing each of their symptoms, restoring their health, and educating them on how to take care of themselves for the future. I'm very grateful and I truly believe I was meant to go through all this to find my passion and mission in life. We are made to HEAL!
